The Mudratt ‘Bushwhacker’ Rakehoe is a compact, multi function tool, developed and designed in Australia, for wildland firefighting and general land management applications. The combined 4-tine rake and sharpened hoe blade makes the Mudratt Rakehoe the ideal tool for fireground tasks such as cutting, scraping, and clearing down to mineral soil.

The head is manufactured from wear resistant, hardened steel to suit abrasive conditions, while the compact profile allows for controlled work around vegetation, rocks, and uneven terrain. High visibility finishes assist with locating tools in dense bush, smoke, and low-light environments.

  • STEEL RAKEHOE HEAD, made from durable hardened steel for harsh ground conditions. Combined rake and hoe design for multi-purpose ground work.
  • MULTI-USE. Combination rake and hoe head design for land management. Radiused edges for bark scraping. Sharpened rake tine edges for cutting grass when raking. Rear gusset for ‘grabbing’ branches, debris and rolling logs. Can be used during overhaul operations to break up debris and prevent re-ignition.
  • WIDE SPACED TINES. Designed to move grass and light fuels while reducing clogging in scrub.
  • FLAT HOE BLADE. Provides control when scraping and cutting firebreaks.
  • HIGH VISIBILITY FINISH. Painted in bright blue or pink for visibility in vegetation and added surface protection.
  • REINFORCED SOCKET. Welded steel socket supports the handle at a key stress point.
  • BOLT-THROUGH HANDLE FIXING. Mechanical connection helps retain the handle during use.
