The Ultimate Bandanna® UB-V2
A nearly 100% fire proof face garment (bandanna) designed strictly for wildland firefighting personnel. Incorporates an adjustable nose pinch (aluminium sandwiched by CarbonX®) for comfort and performance fit. The balance of the mask is constructed of CarbonX®. Provides the wearer with some relief (nuisance level) from airborne particles by the physical barriers of CarbonX® knitted area in the centre ventilation orifice. A ‘one size’ fits all garment. Utilises hook and loop closures at the back of the neck. Features the added benefit of 3M® Scotchlite Reflective Trim for night time visibility. The addition of a CarbonX® cinch cord with a sliding nylon spring lock creates an air pocket for easier breating and comfort. The integral hang strap allows it to hang loose around the neck until needed.

Reduces risk of burn injuries to the facial skin from radiant heat or direct flame through the use of CarbonX® fabric. This fabric withstands temperatures in excess of 1400º Celsius, is patented and is the world’s most highly thermally resistant fabric.
It will not block gases, vapours or significant airborne particulate. It is not a respirator.
